It doesn't look like it, but IC10 is a galaxy located 2.5 million light years away and is likely part of the Andromeda sub group of galaxies. From our line of sight IC10 lies within the plane of the Milky Way galaxy, which heavily obscures IC10 through dust. It is considered a starburst galaxy, forming stars at a high rate.
