In June 2019 we spent four glorious nights in Yosemite National Park, which was the site of my first circumpolar star trails image.
This image was taken from our campsite in the Upper Pines campground. Beyond the towering pines and illuminated by a full moon, the valley wall can be seen in the background, rising 3000 feet above the valley floor. Directly beyond the cliff face lies North Dome (not visible).
