ZWO EAF Mounting Solutions for SCTs and Maks

These brackets allow you to mount a ZWO Electronic Automatic Focuser (EAF)  onto your SCT telescope.

All necessary hardware is provided, unless already supplied by ZWO with the EAF.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

As of June 2025 the EAF and EAF-Pro have a smaller pinion shaft than the original EAF (12v) and EAF-5v, as well as a USB-C connector.   Please specify which Coupler will fit your particular EAF:
Coupler-EAF12v5v  - fits the original EAF (12v) and EAF-5v
Coupler-EAFNPro  - fits the newer EAF-N and EAF-Pro

QUICK focus release brackets for SCTs:

Utilizing a belt drive system and innovative push fit flexible drive gear knob, this bracket will allow you to easily disengage the belt drive for manual focusing.  This is especially handy when switching between configurations with different focal lengths.

SCT bracket note:  As the focuser moves there is an internal screw that also travels in and out.  The EAF bracket is designed to allow for some of this travel around the focus point, but does not allow for the full outward focuser travel.  Prior to installing the bracket make sure the scope is roughly in focus.

Color Note:  The coupler will be black due to the special filament used for the coupler.  The bracket can be black, red or silver.
