These brackets provides a way to attach your QHY PoleMaster or iOptron iPolar to your telescope or mount for polar alignment. For example, you can attach the camera directly to a Vixen bar on top of the scope, or in a finderscope shoe, etc.
The universal brackets consist of two parts: a bracket for your camera and one of several different attachments.
Dedicated brackets do not need an "Attachment" but attach directly to the mount.
PoleMaster Bracket
PoleMaster-Bracket: The Bracket can be
mounted either above or below the scope and the PoleMaster is bolted to
the Bracket with supplied M3x20mm stainless steel bolts and nuts.
PoleMaster-AM5: Dedicated PoleMaster
bracket for AM5/AM5N. The PoleMaster can be mounted semi-permanently with
(3) M3x20mm screws, or by two thumb screws for quick placement or removal. NOTE: an "Attachment" is not necessary and will not be included.
iPolar-Bracket: iPolar bracket. The
camera is held in place by a thumbscrew, which can be positioned on top
or the side. Accomodates iPolar's with different cable orientations.
iPolar-AZEQ5: Dedicated iPolar mount
for the iOptron AZ-EQ5 mount. Bolts onto the mount using the mount screws
as indicted. NOTE: an "Attachment" is not necessary and will not
be included. Printed SOLID with a carbon fiber reinforced filament
for strength (BLACK only).
iPolar-EQ8: Dedicated iPolar mount for
the EQ8 mount. Bolts onto the mount using screws provided with the EQ8.
NOTE: an "Attachment" is not necessary and will not be included.
